my mother called me sliver

inspiration: etc. by sibella court.

i am completely convinced that sibella assembled this book purely for my personal enchantment.  so many details seem as though meant just for me!
she quotes jeanette winterson: “my mother called me silver.  i was born part precious metal part pirate.”
she claims to model her decorating sense after bowerbirds–aahhhh.
she uses typewriters and stamps and paper and strings–simple, old-fashioned treasures that i could never do without!

i am ready to learn more from her!  i requested her as a friend on facebook…but you know how those things go.  how could she know how fabulous and not at all creepy i am?
and, speaking of bowerbirds…what a wonderful band!  watch this.
